When Demas, the son of a world-famous race car, makes fun of how Pops' job as the town garbage truck makes him dirty and smelly, Coop starts to wish his father had a more popular, cleaner, cooler job. But when Pops gets sick, Coop learns how important being a garbage truck really is and steps in to help clean up the town. Coop discovers that his father's humble, selfless service points to Jesus, the best servant of all, who came to clean up the mess in our hearts.

I love The Wheelies series! In this latest addition, Coop learns that serving others is a way to serve Jesus. When he steps in to help his dad with his garbage truck, he discovers the value of humble service. Perfect for ages 3-8, this fun story also includes tips for parents on discussing service. A must-read!
Got a kiddo who loves cars, garbage trucks, fire trucks and more? This book is PERFECT! And actually whether or not your kids are vehicle-obsessed or not, this Christian series is a MUST! Coop is back in another colorfully-illustrated story this time about serving and helping others as a way to show Jesus’ love. Coop’s dad is a garbage truck, something a “friend” of Coop’s pokes fun at, but when his dad gets sick and the whole town starts to have garbage lining the streets, Coop realizes that helping out, no matter if it looks good to others or not, makes a huge difference and reflects Christ’s servant heart toward us. Make sure to read the pages at the end of the book called “The Good News” and “Notes For Parents” to further apply the principle of service and ideas to incorporate more service opportunities for your kids.. As a fan of <Coop Messes Up>, I am happy to receive the preview of the new book of this series. I believe your little ones will love this book too if they are car-lovers! Coop loved his father Pops, who was the garbage truck in Capital City. However, when the race car Demas mocked at Pops’ smell and his job, Coop began to look down his father. Phil Junior at the gas station said to Coop that Pops has one of the most important jobs in this town. Also, he just helps every day, quietly giving his life for the good of the town. In fact, what he did was like the servant of Jesus! In this story, it helps us to see what is unseen matters more than what is seen (2Cor 4:18, 5:7). This truth directs our hearts to value the heavenly works, and urges us to follow the steps of Jesus Christ. Lastly, I enjoy the ending conversation with Coop and Pops: Coop asks, "How do you help out every day without complaining?" Pops smiled. "Because the King cleaned up my messy heart, Coop!"
