Give God Your Worries helps children learn how God takes care of his creation and especially them and to remember 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

God takes care of birds, animals, the sun and rain. He takes care of everything in his world. And he takes care of us, too. But we can sometimes be anxious or nervous. Jesus wants us to remember he cares for us and we can cast—or throw—our worries on him.

In Give God Your Worries, Sally Michael helps parents, teachers, and caregivers to instruct the mind, engage the heart, and influence the will of children as they learn a new Scripture. Each page shows pictures and asks questions to engage preschoolers in understanding the verse. Repetition of the verse throughout the book helps children memorize the Bible verse (ESV) after just a few readings. Also included are pointers for helping children memorize and suggestions for activities that will reinforce "Living by the Word."

  • Part of the Bible Verses to Remember series.
  • Bright, fun illustrations by Sengsavane Chounramany bring the Bible verse to life.
  • Builds a foundation for memorizing Scripture and seeing God's work in the world around us.

They focus on verses that express truths central to our Christian faith and the questions and narrative show what these verses mean and how important they are to our lives. Give God Your Worries

Posted by Debbye Tate on 06 01 2024

What a sweet, helpful book! A couple of my grandchildren are going through anxiety and I've found this book to be a great resource. The artwork is gorgeous and inviting, but the theme itself is powerful without being heavy-handed or preachy. The text is reassuring and empowering as it encourages kids to memorize scripture in dealing with their fears. Love it!

    Lovely kids book

This cute new series from Sally Michael teaches little ones (aged 3-7) truths about God while also helping them start to memorise bible verses. Eye catching and cheery illustrations by Sengsavane Chounramany will engage kids and caregivers alike. Give God Your Worries helps kids to see that we share our worries with God and trust him with them, with the encouragement to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). This might be for slightly older kids, but it certainly gives a biblical, helpful framework for us when we worry.

Good book to teach kids how to memorize verses!

I really appreciate that this book illustrates the worries of daily life from children‘s perspective. They may be afraid of being casted out, or they may feel pressure concerning future path, etc. In both situations, God do care their small but real burdens. Moreover, this book uses a very vivid way to demonstrate the meaning of “casting” in the verse. It is like throwing stones far away from us! Also, I love the way which the key verse is repeated for many times. After reading this book, it is easy for children (as well as parents!) to memorize this verse!

The use of repeated Bible verse really helps kids understand that God loves them and protects them, and that they don't need to worry!
