Love Marty Machowski and his writings. Great story that is biblical and uses the Scripture to teach the role of angels in our lives. The 3D glasses are a fun part of the story.
This is such a fun book for kids, as it's in 3d & comes with old school red/blue 3d glasses. Grandpa teaches the boy that he doesn't have to fear because of angels. He tells the boy numerous Bible stories that are in the Bible. They discuss the fact that grandma died in a car accident, in spite of angels & that God was in control then, too.
This is another great book by Marty Machowski that addresses a common thing among children: fear, especially fear of storms and the dark. It offers practical wisdom and teaches children in an engaging way that God is always protecting us. Terrific book!
It’s such a fun book. Love that they include not 1, but 2 pairs of the 3D glasses. My kids were enthralled.
Great picture book about angels and God’s angels armies. It comes with 2 set of glasses ( perfect for us -2 kids ) . They work best when there is light in the room . For betime with a little light it doesn’t work so well. My kiddos loved this book .

Held my grandchildren’s attention from start to finish. The 3D art was fantastic. My grandchildren were grabbing at the pages because the pictures looked real. It was also wonderful that you ended with the Angel at the empty tomb and explaining the gospel.

I usually steer clear of books dealing with Angels because of how people sometimes put them in a mystical and magical perspective instead of a Biblical perspective, so I was curious as to what Marty Machowski’s Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared was all about. And you know what? I absolutely loved reading Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared! Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared is geared towards young kids ages 4-7, teaching them a basic overview of Angels and how God uses them. Logan spends the night with his Grandpa for the first time when a scary storm starts raging outside. Using the Bible and various Bible stories that include Angels as their guide, Grandpa starts telling Logan that even though he is scared, he will be ok because God and His Angels are watching out for him and will do what’s best. Now in the complementary copy of Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared I received was not a 3D copy, but Rommel Ruiz’s illustrations were just as vibrant and complements the story and what was being discussed. I cannot say how much I love Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared by Marty Machowski enough! I love how Angels on Your Side introduces young kids to Angels and the stories of the Bible it brings out. I love that with each Bible Story it tells, it backs it up with the Scripture reference. I love that Angels on Your Side allows Logan to ask his grandfather tough questions, like why bad things happen. I also appreciated how Grandpa was real in answering Logan’s questions, but at the same time reiterating trusting God and how He is in control. I even thought that you could use Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared to do a teaching series for the kids at your Church or homeschool about God and Angels using the Bible Stories that were mentioned in the book. If you are looking for an encouraging book that teaches the kids in your life how God helps us and takes care us with our fear, then I highly recommend Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared by Marty Machowski!
