Marty Machowski is a Family Life Pastor at Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA, where he has served on the pastoral staff for over thirty years. He is the author of a number of family devotionals, curricula (including the Gospel Story for Kids), children’s books, and parenting titles. His latest releases include Darkest Night Brightest Day, The Light Before Christmas, The Treasure, and Angels on Your Side. He and his wife, Lois, have six children and several grandchildren, and reside in West Chester, PA.

Rommel Ruiz was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to sunny Southern California to pursue his passion for creative expression and storytelling. An accomplished designer and illustrator, he incorporates influences from theater, film, animation, and mid-century design. His work includes animated visuals for Cartoon Network and the award-winning Luther documentary, as well as illustrations for books including Golly's Folly, The Gospel in Color, Why Do We Say Good Night, Angels on Your Side, and more. He is also the cofounder and art director of Patrol. He and his wife, Anny, live with their two joyful girls in Vancouver, WA.

This is another great book by Marty Machowski that addresses a common thing among children: fear, especially fear of storms and the dark. It offers practical wisdom and teaches children in an engaging way that God is always protecting us. Terrific book!
Great picture book about angels and God’s angels armies. It comes with 2 set of glasses ( perfect for us -2 kids ) . They work best when there is light in the room . For betime with a little light it doesn’t work so well. My kiddos loved this book .
Well done! Marty gives us another great book for our shelf, that addresses an issue everyone faces, feeling scared. I purchased one copy and gave it away, purchased another for my own shelf.
Held my grandchildren’s attention from start to finish. The 3D art was fantastic. My grandchildren were grabbing at the pages because the pictures looked real. It was also wonderful that you ended with the Angel at the empty tomb and explaining the gospel.
All children have real or imaginary fears, and we want our children to know God’s love and protection for them. My soon really enjoyed the book. Is a good reminder for him that God is in control and He sends His angels to guard us. We really like it and have been reading it almost everyday.
The glasses are not good at all and its very difficult to read the story with them,. Very disappointed

"Angels On Your Side" by Marty Machowski is a very inspiring book for children about the divine presence of Angels and their dramatic protection at God's explicit command. The graphic illustrations by Rommel Ruiz draws our rapt attention and captures our vivid imagination to make Logan's story spring to life in a most awesome way. The turbulent storm and Grandpa's calming presence, coupled with his expert storytelling skill, add to the solemn ambience of the atmosphere. This book reminds us of the glorious fact that God controls all the storms of our lives and His angels watch over us all the time. We don't ever need to worry or fear about the fearsome army trying to scare us when God's angel armies are defending us constantly.
