GOSPEL STORIES FOR KIDS: GOSPEL STORY CURRICULUM

The whole Bible, both the Old or the New Testament, tells one story of how God rescued his people from sin and death by sending his Son, Jesus. The Gospel Story Curriculum for kids tells that one story using 78 OT stories and 78 NT stories. Your church and family will learn to trace the gospel through the Bible stories for kids that they read and study. We also offer children’s Bible story books that feature the same stories as the curriculum and family devotionals. New Growth Press children’s books are centered around gospel stories for kids that help children understand their need for God and his great gift of Jesus who died and rose again. The gospel story for kids will change children’s lives as they turn to Jesus in faith.

WONDERING HOW TO TEACH THE GOSPEL STORY CURRICULUM TO KIDS?

New Growth Press offers a wide assortment of children’s Bible stories centered around the Gospel Story curriculum. These books help to tell the story of the Bible through the lens of the gospel and will introduce children to the God who created them and came to save them. As children go through the three levels of the curriculum (each taking three years) they will grow in biblical literacy and love for God and others. The OT stories show how each one points to Jesus and the NT stories explain the gospel. The Bible stories for kids that are curated in the Gospel Story curriculum will introduce children to the story of redemption through the whole Bible. Explore the gospel story curriculum at the level required, i.e. lower elementary, upper elementary, preschool, or all grades. At home, families are encouraged to follow along with the Gospel Story curriculum using the OT devotional, Long Story Short, and the NT family devotional, Old Story New. In just 10-minutes a day, families can connect to what their children are learning at church and grow closer to God and each other.

The Gospel Story curriculum is a Christ-centered Bible study for Kids and Students that begins in preschool to show how all Scripture points to Jesus Christ. NGP is excited to be using the Gospel stories for kids because we believe that when even a young child encounters the gospel, it can truly transforms them.
