Chiara Fedele was born in Milan and now lives in a little village nearby with her family and pets. She attended an art school in Milan and has an illustration degree from La Scuola del Fumetto. Chiara loves bright colors and contrasts. She uses a combination of mixed traditional media and digital media. Her artwork is varied and she feels her style is always evolving. She teaches illustration and painting at the International School of Comics in Brescia and Padova.

Where Wonder Leads by Eryn Lynum is a fantastic book and resource for families, homeschoolers, and nature enthusiasts. Overview: This book is probably best suited for ages 7 and above. It is written in a chapter book format, taking about 10 minutes to read aloud each chapter. The beginning of each chapter has a key verse to read and ends with a "digging deeper" section. Throughout the book the author uses scientific terms and defines them to the reader so we can understand what the terms mean, and how to read them aloud properly. What stood out: 1: This book is written from a biblical worldview and has an emphasis on creation belonging to God. Eryn writes in a way that is fully engaging, while remaining biblically accurate. 2: The "digging deeper" sections of each chapter were incredibly encouraging for me as a mother. While each chapter is describing a different area of nature to explore; i.e. rocks, axolotls, mushrooms, birds, ect; the digging deeper sections beautifully pair what we learn about nature while applying Christian principles in our life. 3: The story follows a little girl named Willow, who loves all things nature. As you follow Willow through this story, you and the children you're reading to will be excited to step outdoors and learn alongside her. Willow is not only curious, but humble. She takes advice well and ponders big life questions in a God honoring way. Why I'd recommend this book: Willow is a great role model. Being the main character, she has a big influence. The author made Willow someone who is worth the time in my home library. Not only is this a good story, but Where Wonder Leads is a fantastic resource. I could see this book being used for homeschooling co-ops, book study groups, or any other educational type setting. In the "digging deeper" sections Eryn has given us prompts to go outside and do our own nature study/ drawing in our nature journal. All around, this book was very well done, and I am pleased to have read it. I was given a copy of Where Wonder Leads for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
