In his Galatians Bible study, McKay Caston guides participants in keeping the gospel as the "true north" compass for their lives, allowing them to break free from religious rule-keeping and live with freedom and joy.
Readers will be equipped to fix their eyes on Jesus from every point on the map, especially in those moments when waves of legalism threaten to steal their joy and hijack freedom. Paul's message to the church in Galatia serves as a gospel compass for navigating life with the cross of the risen and reigning Jesus as their focus and guide.
Galatians: Navigating Live in View of the Cross completely turns the tables on what most people think religion is. Keeping the gospel compass visible in each lesson helps readers rediscover how gloriously central God's saving, sustaining, and sanctifying grace is to the entire Christian life.
"McKay Caston's pastoral experience and his understanding of the blessings of grace are well on display in this study of the apostle Paul's most penetrating letter about the transforming power of Jesus's resolute, determined, and undeterred love for those who can so readily and frequently forget his heart."
Bryan Chapell, Pastor; author

In this study, McKay Caston masterfully balances in-depth study with real-life application. His wisdom and insight along the way help the reader glean the multi-faceted realities of the gospel. This study will be one that I use often in my personal life and in my discipleship efforts."

I love the Gospel-Centered Life in the Bible series from New Growth Press and using their books as part of my devotion time. McKay Caston’s Galatians: Navigating Life in View of the Cross is awesome addition to the Gospel-Centered Life in the Bible series and follows it’s format. Galatians: Navigating Life in View of the Cross has a Lesson Section, a Article Section, and a Exercise Section in each chapter as well as Leader’s Guide Notes that complements the study so that it can be done in a group setting. McKay Caston brings boldness, knowledge and wisdom to help the reader and potential Bible Study Group understand and learn from the book of Galatians. Mr. Caston has brought out things in Galatians: Navigating Life in View of the Cross that I never knew about the book of Galatians in its context to the time in history in which it was was written. I love the nuggets that Mr. Caston brings out about the book of Galatians and that the Truth that was written in Bible Times still resonates today and is still True. (I found myself highlighting much of what I read.) I love how Mr. Caston reminds us of Paul’s perspective, not only culturally, but out of a place of Love. I love the remembrance of how it is our Faith in Christ, not works that can get us by that is talked about in book. I love how the Author reminds us that it is ok to have doubts and questions about God and to bring it to Him. I appreciate how Mr. Caston describes the Truth of Sin and how it really effects us and our relationship with Him, but at the same time reminds us of what Jesus has Done. I love how the Lesson, Article, and Exercise section all flow together in equal parts into an awesome Bible Study regardless of whether or not it’s done as a Group or Individual Study. If you are looking for a study to help aid you in studying the Word, then I highly recommend Galatians: Navigating Life in View of the Cross by McKay Caston!
