Description
The Gospel-Centered Life for Teens by Robert H. Thune and Will Walker, gives teens and young adults a road map for living a life centered on God and the gospel.
Something or someone will always try to define you. Maybe others call you the “techie,” the “jock,” the “class clown,” or the “smart kid.” It’s easy to think that those labels sum up who you really are, express what really matters in your life, and define the things you should pursue.
But your identity goes far deeper than the positive or even the negative labels people use to define you. There is something at the core of a satisfying and meaningful life that can’t be summed up by any label. This study offers the chance to center your life on the only thing in the universe that actually has the power to define you, give your life meaning, and shape how you live each day.
- Nine-lesson small group study with leader’s notes.
- Each self-contained lesson includes a Bible passage, discussion questions, a short article and an application exercise.
- Appropriate for believers and non-believers alike, with self-contained lessons and clear teaching from Scripture.
- Now combined into a single resource (previously sold as separate leader’s guide and participant’s guide)

Foundational book for the Christian life
I wish I had been given a book like this when I was saved at 13. It really helps one understand what comes -after- salvation. It’s also written in a way that makes the concepts accessible to study participants who are not yet saved, answering a lot of questions for them about what it means (and doesn’t mean) to be a Christian. I will be using it in the spring as the book to guide our teen girls’ Bible study for both girls who are saved and those who aren’t saved and don’t attend church. It is written in a style that invites them to bring all their questions to the table, because the Gospel provides answers. I look forward to checking out the Gospel-Centered Life in the Bible series next. Side note: there seems to be a chart missing from page 72.
