Wonderful, simple, concrete presentation of the life of Moses and the power of his God.
This book takes the story of the Exodus and relates it to kids in a way that doesn't stray from scripture, points them to Jesus, and helps them understand it! I love the board book because it has a sturdy feel but it isn't a "baby" book. This book is great for preschoolers or any age really, We have read this one for bedtime multiple times! If you have the Gospel Story Bible, you can find this same info in there, but I love how this is its own separate book, and it would be great for younger kiddos because it's a board book. This book was given as a complimentary gift, but all opinions are our own!

God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus tells the story of Moses as a baby, the basics of Moses’ life, the 10 Plagues, and Crossing the Red Sea. Each stage of the story has a Bible Reference and an applicable question that leads back to Jesus. I loved God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus by Jared Kennedy and the way it presented the story of Moses and the Israelites. I appreciated the way the book was written in a way that the 3-5 age bracket could understand. I loved that the Bible references were included at each stage in the story. I also loved the questions at the end of each part of the story and how it pointed back to Jesus and reinforced Promises that are in God’s Word. I also loved the art work in the book. If you are looking for a book to help teach the young children in your life to learn and fall in love with the stories in the Bible, then I highly recommend God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus by Jared Kennedy! I am looking forward to what story is next in The Beginner’s Gospel Story series!
