Love this book!

This book takes the story of the Exodus and relates it to kids in a way that doesn't stray from scripture, points them to Jesus, and helps them understand it! I love the board book because it has a sturdy feel but it isn't a "baby" book. This book is great for preschoolers or any age really, We have read this one for bedtime multiple times! If you have the Gospel Story Bible, you can find this same info in there, but I love how this is its own separate book, and it would be great for younger kiddos because it's a board book. This book was given as a complimentary gift, but all opinions are our own!

How can we remember that God is our hero? In God Rescues, Jared Kennedy shares how God watched over his people and used Moses to save the Israelites. What I love most about this book is how it stays grounded in God’s Word. Written for ages 3-5, the major points of the Exodus story are told and explained in a simple and straightforward way. The Exciting Exodus Story With illustrations by Trish Mahoney, your children will see the story come alive in vibrant colors and kid-friendly pictures. This 30-page board book has a modern look while staying true to the Biblical text. While my kids enjoyed the exciting Exodus narrative, I was glad to share how the story relates to Jesus. This book will help you share and remember the Good News: that God keeps his promise to rescue his children from their sin.

I loved God Rescues

Jared Kennedy’s God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus is a great way to introduce preschool aged children to what happened to Moses and the Israelites in the Bible. God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus is part of New Growth Press’ The Beginner’s Gospel Story series geared toward 3-5 year-olds. God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus tells the story of Moses as a baby, the basics of Moses’ life, the 10 Plagues, and Crossing the Red Sea. Each stage of the story has a Bible Reference and an applicable question that leads back to Jesus. I loved God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus by Jared Kennedy and the way it presented the story of Moses and the Israelites. I appreciated the way the book was written in a way that the 3-5 age bracket could understand. I loved that the Bible references were included at each stage in the story. I also loved the questions at the end of each part of the story and how it pointed back to Jesus and reinforced Promises that are in God’s Word. I also loved the art work in the book. If you are looking for a book to help teach the young children in your life to learn and fall in love with the stories in the Bible, then I highly recommend God Rescues: Moses and the Exodus by Jared Kennedy! I am looking forward to what story is next in The Beginner’s Gospel Story series!

God Always Keeps His Promises

This beautiful beginner gospel storybook does an outstanding job of sharing that God always keeps his promises. This book is perfect for preschool aged children with easy to understand text and colorful illustrations. This one is a winner!
