CSB Life Counsel Bible

I really love the bright green color. It’s very vibrant and uplifting to even look at. I haven’t read through all the articles yet, but what I have read has been excellent. The margins are wide enough for note taking, and the CSB is a great translation. It’s literal enough for serious study, but just dynamic enough to be a really pleasant read.Read more about review stating CSB Life Counsel Bible

I’d highly recommend this Bible for those who occasionally struggle with mental health concerns, or people who are interested in empathizing and ministering to others. There’s a decent bit about family relationships as well.

Beautiful Bible. Very high quality.

Very nice Bible. The leather is soft and high quality. The build is exceptional. The articles inside are very helpful. I’m glad I waited the month for this to ship. Totally worth it. This is my first Bible as an adult and I think it’ll serve me a lifetime.

On the Indexing I Wish

On the indexing I wish the corners were round instead of square edges which bend easy (folded corners). The print could be larger and I like the verse numbers the the left edge of the verse instead of in the middle of a paragraph.
I really like the font that was used it makes the smaller print readable. The helps in this bible is beyond any thRead more about review stating On the indexing I wishing I expected. covers a lot of bases. the leather cover is great, over all a fine Bible!

Good articles, text block, binding

The CSB Life Counsel Bible, Genuine Leather, Indexed is a good blending of text and informative articles. The leather is very similar to fine goatskin and the text block is Smythe sewn with overcast stitching. There is some degree of ghosting, but not overly noticeable. Some may complain that the paper could have been thicker, but that would have Read more about review stating Good articles, text block, bindingmade the bible at least 3/4 of an inch thicker as well. Although the CSB is a good text, there are places where the old HCSB was superior. "Slave" was sacrificed on the altar of "political correctness" and "servant" was substituted in its place, even when the original Greek was plainly translated as "slave". There are other areas where the text was changed from an accurate translation to a blurred rendering as well. The old HCSB text would have earned this review "Five stars". Having said all that, the Life Counsel Bible is a good addition to the study bible market.
