This is the second time purchasing this book for my grandchildren. They loved it so much, they wore it out! I love the illustrations and the 3D effects with the storyline. Awesome book!

Love Marty Machowski and his writings. Great story that is biblical and uses the Scripture to teach the role of angels in our lives. The 3D glasses are a fun part of the story.

This is such a fun book for kids, as it's in 3d & comes with old school red/blue 3d glasses. Grandpa teaches the boy that he doesn't have to fear because of angels. He tells the boy numerous Bible stories that are in the Bible. They discuss the fact that grandma died in a car accident, in spite of angels & that God was in control then, too.

This is another great book by Marty Machowski that addresses a common thing among children: fear, especially fear of storms and the dark. It offers practical wisdom and teaches children in an engaging way that God is always protecting us. Terrific book!

It’s such a fun book. Love that they include not 1, but 2 pairs of the 3D glasses. My kids were enthralled.

Great picture book about angels and God’s angels armies. It comes with 2 set of glasses ( perfect for us -2 kids ) . They work best when there is light in the room . For betime with a little light it doesn’t work so well. My kiddos loved this book .

Well done! Marty gives us another great book for our shelf, that addresses an issue everyone faces, feeling scared. I purchased one copy and gave it away, purchased another for my own shelf.

Held my grandchildren’s attention from start to finish. The 3D art was fantastic. My grandchildren were grabbing at the pages because the pictures looked real. It was also wonderful that you ended with the Angel at the empty tomb and explaining the gospel.

I usually steer clear of books dealing with Angels because of how people sometimes put them in a mystical and magical perspective instead of a Biblical perspective, so I was curious as to what Marty Machowski’s Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared was all about. And you know what? I absolutely loved reading Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared! Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared is geared towards young kids ages 4-7, teaching them a basic overview of Angels and how God uses them. Logan spends the night with his Grandpa for the first time when a scary storm starts raging outside. Using the Bible and various Bible stories that include Angels as their guide, Grandpa starts telling Logan that even though he is scared, he will be ok because God and His Angels are watching out for him and will do what’s best. Now in the complementary copy of Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared I received was not a 3D copy, but Rommel Ruiz’s illustrations were just as vibrant and complements the story and what was being discussed.

I cannot say how much I love Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared by Marty Machowski enough! I love how Angels on Your Side introduces young kids to Angels and the stories of the Bible it brings out. I love that with each Bible Story it tells, it backs it up with the Scripture reference. I love that Angels on Your Side allows Logan to ask his grandfather tough questions, like why bad things happen. I also appreciated how Grandpa was real in answering Logan’s questions, but at the same time reiterating trusting God and how He is in control. I even thought that you could use Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared to do a teaching series for the kids at your Church or homeschool about God and Angels using the Bible Stories that were mentioned in the book. If you are looking for an encouraging book that teaches the kids in your life how God helps us and takes care us with our fear, then I highly recommend Angels on Your Side: When You’re Feeling Scared by Marty Machowski!

Y'all I have been waiting to have this book in my hands, and you best believe I ripped the box open like a rabid animal when it was delivered __ I scored some major cool mom points with this one and was really impressed myself!

Okay, so Angels on Your Side is a book from the much-loved Marty Machowski. The story is great and it comes with TWO PAIRS OF 3-D GLASSES! My kids thought this was so cool - this was their first 3-D book. The book is about Logan, who is a young boy sleeping over at his grandpa's house for the first time. There is a big, scary thunderstorm and Logan is not liking it at all. His Grandpa reassures him of God's protection and sovereignty by telling him 3 major stories from the Bible (references included!) in which God's angels appear. The first is from 2 Kings with Elisha and the Syrian army. The second is about the angels announcing Christ's birth to the shepherds. The last coincides with the gospel message and has to do with Christ's death and resurrection. First, Christ could have called to God for angels to save him from the cross, but it was the sovereign plan for Jesus to die to save all who believe. In the garden, before Christ is arrested, an angel comes to him to strengthen him (Luke 22:43) Finally, an angel rolls away the stone blocking the tomb. This book is so neat and I definitely recommend, especially for little boys - mine absolutely devoured it. Here are their thoughts:

8 year old: I liked that it was 3-D and really exciting! My favorite angel story was the first one with Elisha. This book is fun.

6 year old: I liked that it had angels in it, and it came with rockstar glasses! I really liked the story with Elisha too. I like this book a lot.

My soon really enjoyed the book. Is a good reminder for him that God is in control and He sends His angels to guard us. We really like it and have been reading it almost everyday.

The glasses are not good at all and its very difficult to read the story with them,. Very disappointed

Just got my book in the mail today and wow! The illustrations are so cool, the story is written really well, and reminds us that Gods angel armies are by our side. We don’t have to be afraid. And an unexpected cool feature is the book comes with 3D glasses! Epic illustration style, well written story, and 3D glasses, definitely worth checking this book out!

What a fun book?! It beautifully shows the reality and significance of the hidden spiritual realm to little ones and parents.

As soon as we finished reading my son asked me to read it again. He enjoyed the pictures, pointing out the rain and lightning and I think he really connected with the fear of the storm. ⛈️ We've had a lot of stormy days recently with big booming thunder and though he doesn't show that he's very frightened, he always wants us to affirm that God is in control and that he is watching over us. This story not only shows God's loving control, but also exposes the agents of his protection over us connecting it to a familiar experience in our kids' lives.

I love the idea of the 3d images to show the hidden/invisibleness of the spiritual realm. It's been a while since I've seen 3D glasses around ?️, but I couldn't get enough of these books as a kid! Even though we have a digital copy, I can see how the 3D would add to the illustrations and I'm excited to see the physical book.

Books by Mary Machowski are always enjoyed at our house. Angels on Your Side is a beautiful picture book that helps lessen feelings of fear by exploring God’s love and protection for His children. This one is a winner!

"Angels On Your Side" by Marty Machowski is a very inspiring book for children about the divine presence of Angels and their dramatic protection at God's explicit command. The graphic illustrations by Rommel Ruiz draws our rapt attention and captures our vivid imagination to make Logan's story spring to life in a most awesome way. The turbulent storm and Grandpa's calming presence, coupled with his expert storytelling skill, add to the solemn ambience of the atmosphere. This book reminds us of the glorious fact that God controls all the storms of our lives and His angels watch over us all the time. We don't ever need to worry or fear about the fearsome army trying to scare us when God's angel armies are defending us constantly. I heartily recommend this brilliantly illustrated book to win the hearts of children worldwide.

"I'll have to see it to believe it." That's the philosophy of so many in our world. But the Bible reminds us that much of the real world God created is beyond our sight. Though invisible to us, God's messengers relay prayers to his throne, ministering spirits guard young children, and great battles are fought with evil dragons thrown down in defeat. In Angels on Your Side, Marty Machowski and Rommel Ruiz use clear prose, engaging illustrations, and 3D glasses (!!) to introduce children to God's sovereignty, his providential care, and the spiritual realm where God's army is invisibly but powerfully deployed. What a fun and important book!
