Katie Polski, MA, is a writer, Bible teacher, and speaker. She serves as the Director of Music Ministries and Special Events at Trinity Church in St. Louis, MO, where her husband, Chris, is a pastor. Katie is the author of You Are a Child of God and Beyond the Back Row and has written articles for Rooted Ministries, Risen Motherhood, The Gospel Coalition, and several other ministries. Katie and Chris have three children and one son-in-law.

I’ve found another wonderful devotional, and this one is all about our identity as daughters of God! I just love that focus.

The book has a really clean, easy-to-follow layout that covers eight weeks (40 days total). Each daily reading includes:
• A Scripture passage
• A short devotional (2 pages)
• Heartfelt application questions
At the end of each five-day week there’s a special prompt that challenges you to take the truths you’ve learned and share them with others. The size of the book (8x10) gives you plenty of white space to write down your thoughts, answers, or prayers without feeling crowded.

I’m feeling so encouraged by these daily readings. They’re such a beautiful reminder that we are anchored in the hope, love, grace, and comfort of our Heavenly Father.

It has been a joy to go through this devotional slowly with my headphones on (for listening to coordinating scripture) and a hook and yarn in my hands. While I am doing this one on my own, I can’t wait to share it with my women’s Bible study group and also look forward to going through it again with my daughters.

I feel like it has become harder and harder over the years for me to find biblically sound devotionals and books. I look forward to checking out the other devotionals in this Gospel Truth for Women series. I have become confident in what NGP puts out and treasure having a home library of theologically sound works to share with my family and friends.

Easily 5 stars! This devotional is a breath of fresh air, theologically sound, ecouraging, relatable, and met me right where I was. It is divided up into 8 weeks with 5 days a week, but you can easily do multiple days at once if you want. There are questions at the end of each day to help you consider what you read, think about how it relates to your life, and to go more in depth. I highly recommend this!
