Lightglider Origins

The Lightglider Origin series is based on the characters and story found in the Lightgliders virtual world of Christian faith, games, and community for kids ages 8–14. Each book tells the story of one the seven teens, all from different time periods and locations around the world who are transported to the mystical land of Glideon to become Lightgliders. These fantasy adventure stories with relatable, authentic characters affirm a biblical worldview and positive values. Through the stories of the Lightgliders, readers will catch a vision for how they were uniquely made to shine and see how God has written them into His grand story.

Bryce and the Lost Pearl

Victor Harbor, Australia, 2024

Life is full of responsibilities for fifteen-year-old Bryce Holland. Between work, school, and a sprained ankle, the stress sends Bryce over the edge and he thunders away on his uncle’s Clydesdale. When the horse gets away from him, the search to find it sends Bryce wandering deep through the woods and into a strange new land. Bryce suddenly finds himself in the alternate realm of Glideon where he meets other teens who have been tasked with rescuing the Gliddles from an army of Machines that threaten the land. Along the way, Bryce and his new friends discover the mysterious pearl that will guide them in their journey.

Tambika and the Shield of Wisdom

Tanganyika, Africa, 1896    

As long as she’s been alive, Tambika’s tribe, the Hehe, has lived in conflict. She longs to be a leader who stands up for her people, but her desire for vengeance endangers her destiny. When Tambika and her friends break into the German armory to take back their tribe’s silver, she attacks a young soldier and flees the scene. As she escapes into the bush, Tambika sees a cosmic light that fills the sky and transports her to another realm, the land of Glideon. There she discovers an old journal with clues that lead her to an abandoned training facility, where her purpose in Glideon is revealed. But first, she must locate the Shield of Wisdom.
